More exciting news for the Simon Howie team this week as the winners of the 2019 Great Taste Awards were announced.

The Great Taste Awards are the world’s largest and most trusted food and drink awards, and the accolades awarded at this annual event are a highly respected seal of approval recognised across the food and drink industry. The Oscars of food and drink, you might say!

We are delighted to share that we received three Great Taste Awards this year, which went to our Dry Cure Smoked Bacon, Vegetarian Square Sausage, and our Wee Veggie Haggis! Wee Veggie Haggis joins its cousin, Wee Black Pudding, which won the title in 2017. Our Smoked Bacon award win completes the bacon trio, meaning our Smoked, Unsmoked, and Sweetcure bacon now all have a Great Taste award too!

But as if that wasn’t enough, since we have won awards for the last three years, this means we are now recognised by the Guild of Fine Food as a Great Taste Producer.
