Like our Vegetarian Haggis (454g), our Wee Veggie Haggis is a sumptuous of blend pulses, seeds and vegetables, bursting with flavour and mixed with oats and spices. It is a tasty and versatile alternative loved by vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Our vegetarian haggis doubles up as a vegan haggis too, as we are also Vegan Approved by the Vegetarian Society!
Pan fry: Remove all packaging and casing. Slice into 8-10 equal sizes as required, ightly oil a pan and bring to a medium heat, fry for 4-5 minutes, turning frequently.
Boil: Still in the casing, wrap the haggis in tin foil and place in a pan of simmering water for 30-35 minutes, add more water if required.
Microwave: Remove all packaging including casing and clips. Evenly slice, place on a microwaveable dish, cover with cling film, pierce film and heat on full power for 2 minutes. Carefully remove the film due to hot steam, break up the haggis with a fork, return to the microwave for a further 30 seconds. Allow to stand for 30 seconds before serving. Always ensure that the centre of the haggis is piping hot before serving. As all appliances may very, these are guidelines only. This product must be cooked before eating.
