ingredients

Simon Howie Haggis (any type but the slices of Classic Breakfast Haggis work really well)

Grated Cheddar

Large Wraps

Sauce if wanted

Method

  1. It’s best to heat the haggis prior to building your wrap. It makes it easier to work with and ensures it will be fully cooked once toasted. I placed 2 slices of haggis in a microwavable bowl. Covered with clingfilm, pierced a few times with a knife and popped it in the microwave for 2 mins.
  2. Lay out your wrap on a flat surface. Add grated cheese right down the middle of the wrap and then top with crumbled hot haggis and sauce if desired.
  3. Fold the wrap by bringing in both sides across the haggis and cheese centre and then folding that in half.
  4. Place the wrap in your toaster. I used a holder but that is not necessary as the contents are safely contained in the wrap parcel.
  5. Toast until golden brown on the outside and until you can see the cheese has melted in the middle. Check every so often to be sure you don’t burn them.
  6. Serve and enjoy.
