We don’t like to stand still, and we continue to invest in the future of our products so we can keep bringing the products you know and love to your table. This commitment was the driving force behind our recent investment in creating a brand new part of the factory dedicated to our best-selling bacon (lovingly known as The Bacon Room!), and we are excited for all the opportunities this brings!
With any new machinery investment, we aim to make sure that this assists rather than replaces the efforts of our staff, and our new bacon machine is no different. As well as making the packing process more efficient for the team in the factory, it allows for a whole new design for our packaging too!
Our three variants of Premium Dry Cure Back Bacon (Smoked, Unsmoked and Sweetcure) as well as our new addition to the bacon range, Premium Dry Cure Smoked Streaky Bacon, have all now received their packaging makeover! This investment comes as we’ve received even more awards for our bacon products recently, including an award of ‘Highly Commended’ at the Meat Management Awards for our Premium Dry Cure Smoked Back Bacon. Our Premium Dry Cure Smoked Streaky Bacon also won Great Taste Award at this year’s virtual ceremony, meaning all four of our bacon products have now achieved the accolade!
