We love a plate of haggis, neeps and tatties as much as the next person, but there are times when you catch yourself wondering about other ideas for things to do with haggis, don’t you think?
Haggis is a truly versatile ingredient, and to limit ourselves to a wee plate of our national dish just now and again would be a crying shame! But not to worry – we’ve got plenty of #Foodspiration for you in our recipe section to give you some haggis ideas to inspire your creativity and get more haggis in your diet.
Is haggis good for you?
But is haggis actually good for you, you ask? As always we should aim to enjoy it as part of a balanced diet, but haggis is actually rich in vitamins and minerals, as well as a good source of protein. Historically, and to this day, the product itself also helps to reduce food waste, as it uses ingredients that otherwise would not have been used over the preferred cuts of meat.
Our best-selling haggis range has grown significantly over the years too, with our Vegetarian Haggis (also Vegan Approved), Gluten Free Haggis, Sliced Perthshire Haggis, and Wee Haggis Chubs allowing even more people to enjoy this Scottish delicacy in different ways.
