We are so delighted to announce that we have won not one, but two awards in the prestigious Great Taste Awards 2023!

The Great Taste Awards is one of the most talked about and highly rated events in the food industry, so it’s an honour to be recognised by them yet again for the 6th year running.

The awards panel is made up of 500 food industry professionals and their expert taste buds who have the tough gig of blind-tasting over 14,000 products from more than 100 countries to find the best of the best food products out there. Competition was strong in 2023 with so many fantastic food producers taking part, but the judges didn’t bacon-our-hearts this year when they announced the winners.

Meat the winners

The Great Taste Awards are considered the Emmys or Oscars of the food and drink industry, it’s a globally recognised seal of food quality and a trusted mark of food quality.

So, we are super proud that two of our products made the cut this year. Our premium dry cure smoked bacon medallions hit the spot with this year’s judges, who said  our product is meaty in flavour, and the thickness of cut offers the bacon a juiciness which keeps the meat moist. Overall, a good example of a bacon medallion!

Next up, our premium meatballs were also a firm favourite and made a lasting impression on judges. They commented that our handmade product that tastes of good quality beef and is well seasoned. The judging panel was also impressed by the savoury smell and the moistness of the meat – Wowie!

We are flattered by this amazing feedback on our products which have been judged as simply delicious by the Great Taste Awards panel!
