We’re celebrating another successful year at the Great Taste Awards, with two of our much-loved products receiving awards in 2026 and, importantly, both are products that have been recognised by Great Taste before.

Our Premium Dry Cure Sweetcure Bacon has been awarded a 1-star Great Taste Award, renewing the award it first won back in 2018. Our Veggie Haggis has also renewed its Great Taste recognition, having previously been awarded in both 2018 and 2019.

For us, that repeat recognition is particularly rewarding. Winning a Great Taste Award is a fantastic achievement, but winning again years later is a testament to something even more important: maintaining quality over time.

Quality you can taste – year after year

The Great Taste Awards are judged on the quality of the product in the pack, with judges looking at everything from appearance and aroma to flavour, texture and overall enjoyment.

So, to see products that have been part of our range for many years continue to impress the judges is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Our Premium Dry Cure Sweetcure Bacon was first awarded in 2018, and eight years later it has once again been recognised for its quality. Likewise, our Veggie Haggis has continued to stand the test of time, following its Great Taste Awards in 2018 and 2019.

It’s a reminder that while we’re always developing new products and looking for ways to innovate, great food still starts with getting the fundamentals right and keeping them right.

A Great Taste-winning bacon range

The Sweetcure award also adds to an impressive run of Great Taste recognition across our bacon range.

Our Smoked Bacon Medallions received a 1-star award in 2023, followed by our Smoked Back Bacon, which picked up an impressive 2 star award in 2025.

2025 was quite the year, as it also brought one of the biggest accolades of all: our Smoked Streaky Bacon was awarded the coveted 3-star Great Taste Award.

With the 2026 award for our Premium Dry Cure Sweetcure Bacon, we now have Great Taste recognition across most of our premium bacon range and are delighted by the quality that demonstrates to the customer right from the shelf edge.

From the factory in Perthshire to Great Taste recognition

Behind every award is a team of people who care about making good food. From selecting quality ingredients and developing our recipes to production, curing, smoking and packing, there are a lot of people involved in getting our products onto the shelf.

The fact that products made here in Perthshire continue to receive recognition from Great Taste judges, sometimes years after their first award, is a fantastic endorsement of the standards we work hard to maintain.

We’re delighted to add our 2026 results to the list and particularly proud that two products with a proven track record have once again earned their place among Great Taste’s recognised foods.
