We’ve added a modern twist to our traditional black pudding recipe with the sweetness of apple and the warmth of spices for a sweeter taste and a softer texture.
This handy Wee Black Pudding chub can be easily sliced to your desired thickness and perfectly placed in a variety of dishes from breakfast to fine dining.
Pan-fry: Remove all packaging and casing. Slice into 8-10 equal sizes as required, lightly oil a pan and bring to medium heat, fry for 4-5 minutes, turning frequently.
Grill: Remove all packaging and casing. Preheat grill to moderate heat. Lay slices of the black pudding onto a suitable tray and then cook under the grill. (Do not place directly under the heat source, allow approx. 10cm space). Grill for approximately 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally. If cooking thicker slices, adjust time accordingly.
Ensure food is piping hot throughout. As all appliances may vary, these are guidelines only. This product must be cooked before eating.
Water, Beef Fat (24%), Oatmeal, Wheat Flour (Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamine), Dried Blood (4.4%), Oat Flakes, Dried Onion, Salt, Dehydrated Apple Flakes (Sulphites), Spices (Cinnamon, Black Pepper, White Pepper, Pimento, Five Spice, Nutmeg), Stabiliser (Sodium Diphosphate).

Although the black pudding has been cooked once at the factory, it is produced in a raw area, so we must also class the finished product as raw. ‘Ready to eat’ products need to be produced in a high care department which our puddings are not, therefore we do not consider these products fit to be eaten straight from the packaging – they must be thoroughly re-heated prior to consumption.
