ingredients

4-5 peppers, yellow, green or red – the choice is yours!

500g Mince

Garlic or other seasoning of your choice.

1 Simon Howie Original Haggis

Tinned tomatoes

Grated cheese for topping!

Method

  1. Chop the top off the peppers, and carefully remove the white centres and seeds.
  2. If your pepper won’t stand up by itself, cut a little off the bottom to make it flat.
  3. Calve out a scary mouth and eyes to give your pepper it’s scary makeover!
  4. Place the peppers upside down in a shallow bowl of water and microwave for 5 mins to soften the peppers ready for filling and serving.
  5. Fry your filling, add seasoning (we used garlic and mince)
  6. Mix in a Simon Howie haggis (chopped up)
  7. Stuff the peppers with filling.
  8. Top with grated cheese
  9. Put them under the grill for about 5 minutes.
  10. Pop the lids back on for a delicious Halloween themed treat your friends and family will love!
