We are all absolutely delighted to hear that Eilidh Wynd, our wonderful Commercial Executive has been shortlisted for the Young Talent Award at this years Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards.

Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting and working with Eilidh during the 2+ years she has been with us will know how well-deserved this recognition is and I’m sure will join us in keeping our fingers and toes crossed for a win on the night.

Whatever the result, Eilidh has been a shining example of young talent joining an established team and throwing everything she has to maximise the opportunities available and to make a difference to the wider team.

As well as being recognised for her contribution to the business within her role. Eilidh has no doubt been shortlisted due to her passionate enthusiasm for the Scottish Food and Drink sector as a whole and her mission to support and encourage the next generation of leaders within it.

Eilidh wrote in her application:

‘I genuinely care about what I do, the company I work for, and the industry I am part of, and this comes across when I present or pitch to others. This industry welcomed me in and I want to do that for more young people.

I love to meet new people, shout about the smallest of victories, support others to achieve their goals and I can bring people out of their shells within minutes. I give 100% to what I do, to the point of changing my Instagram to say Haggis and stopping off on a family holiday at our most northern Co-op listing to take a photo. This infectious enthusiasm would only be increased by winning this award and being able to use it to better the opportunities for other young people.’

We are proud to call her ours and we are all wishing her the best of luck for the awards on the 9th October.
