If there’s news worth SHouting about, it’s this!  We’re so proud of our Perth Shop Butcher, Richard Megahy, who now forms part of the renowned world challenge UK Butchery Team!  And that’s no small feat! The UK Butchery Team is made up of only the most skilled butchers from all over the country, carefully selected and formed into a team that represents the UK in a range of rigorous training and competing heats!

All the Way to the USA…

Richard’s looking forward to his next training session which is set to take place at the MRC Headquarters in May! And come September, he’ll be joining the rest of the UK Butchery Team in Sacramento USA for 10 days, 2 of which he’ll spend competing with the best of the best of worldwide butchers.

The Biggest Challenge…

Richards most looking forward to challenging himself by competing against other countries and meeting some of the industry’s finest craftsmen.  He’s absolutely thrilled (as are we) that he’s earned his place through hard work and second to none passion, and now performing with the Team alongside some serious first-class talent.  What an acompliSHment, right?
