After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close our Auchterarder butcher shop. Our final day of trading will be Wednesday 23rd September 2026.

For many years, the shop has been a valued part of our business and the local community. Unfortunately, like many high street retailers, we have seen customer shopping habits change significantly in recent years, making it increasingly difficult for the shop to remain commercially sustainable.

This has not been an easy decision, particularly because of the impact on our team. However, we have been able to offer every member of staff continued employment with Simon Howie, either at our Perth shop or at our factory in Dunning.

We would like to thank all of our loyal customers for their support over the years. It has been a privilege to serve the Auchterarder community since opening our doors in 1992, and we are incredibly grateful for your custom. We will be very sad to say goodbye.
