(SOLD OUT)

We’re kicking off Burns Night 2026 celebrations with something brand new (and a little bit different!) – the Simon Howie 5k Puddin’ Race!

Taking place on Sunday 25th January 2026 at 10.30am, this fun-filled run is the perfect way to celebrate Scotland’s national bard and, of course, the nation’s favourite dish – the haggis! (SOLD OUT)

🎽 About the Race
For just £15 entry, runners can enjoy a one-of-a-kind Burns Night experience. Not only that, but we’re hoping £1 from every entry will go directly to SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) – and all race profits will be donated to the charity too. So, you’ll be running for fun and for a fantastic cause.

Every finisher will receive:
✨ A super cute finisher’s medal
✨ Some exclusive stickers
✨ And best of all… a haggis of your choice (Original, Vegetarian, Gluten Free or even Chocolate!)

🏆 The Great Chieftain o’ The Puddin’ Race
The first runner across the finish line won’t just get bragging rights – they’ll be crowned The Great Chieftain o’ The Puddin’ Race!
Our champion will also take home:
👕 A special winner’s T-shirt
🏆 A trophy fit for a Burns Night hero

👕 Puddin’ Race Merch
When signing up, you can also order some exclusive Puddin’ Race merch including:
Commemorative race T-shirt

👦 Free 1k Kids Fun Run SOLD OUT
We haven’t forgotten the wee ones! There will be a FREE 1k fun run for kids, making this a family-friendly event. All young runners will get:
🥔 Taylors Haggis Crisps
🥣 A Stoats oat bar
⭐ Some fun stickers for finishing!

Any children under 12 who can run or walk the 1K route in under 15 minutes are very welcome to take part. We just ask that younger children be accompanied by an adult.

Children under 12 can also join the 5K if running with an adult. However, there is some flexibility for children aged 10 and over who are confident and capable of completing the full course independently.

🍴 Post-Race Refreshments
Once the running is done, stick around and refuel with a buffet and refreshments – the perfect way to round off a brilliant Burns celebration.

🐕 Dogs
The 5K Puddin’ Race follows Parkrun guidelines. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to run alongside their owners on a short, non-extendable hand-held lead. Please note that it’s one dog per runner, and owners are fully responsible for cleaning up after their dogs before, during, and after the run. No dogs are allowed to run the Kids Fun Run.

🥳 Don’t Miss Out!
Spaces for the Simon Howie 5k Puddin’ Race are limited, and with such a unique twist, we’re expecting to sell out fast. So don’t delay – get your entry in today and be part of something truly special this Burns Night.
